Day 1
Start your journey with a pickup from your Yogyakarta accommodation and head to Setumbu Hill in order to get inspired by the stunning Borobudur sunrise. The sunrise here is absolutely spectacular as the air turns crisp and the mist gradually dissipates you can see the sun cast a warm glow over the nearby volcanoes and fields. Following the impressive sunrise, venture into the UNESCO-listed Borobudur Temple, the largest Buddhist structure on the planet. Be among the first to enter as the gates open, and immerse yourself in one of the world's most magnificent ancient wonders. After your temple visit, you have the option to return to your Yogyakarta accommodation or explore additional fascinating nearby landmarks like the Merapi Volcano, Prambanan Temple, or Tamansari Water Castle for an even more spectacular experience.
Day 2
On the second day, journey from your Yogyakarta accommodation to Mount Bromo, savoring the scenic landscapes en route, while your driver navigates through the well-known traffic challenges of the city. Upon reaching your lodging in Bromo, take advantage of some leisure time to explore the surroundings and make preparations for another impressive sunrise experience.
Day 3
Day three will begin early on, at 3 am, but it’s certainly worth the sacrifice because it will lead to an extraordinary adventure. Prepare for an unforgettable experience as you capture the enchanting sunrise over Mount Bromo while exploring Indonesia's iconic volcano. Following your exploration of Mount Bromo, return to the hotel for a delightful breakfast before embarking on the journey to Bondowoso City, which will be your base for the upcoming Ijen Crater tour.
Day 4
On the last day, your adventure starts during midnight as you journey to the Ijen Crater, a landmark approximately 2 hours away. Hike up to the crater for 90 to 120 minutes, where you can marvel at the captivating blue flames. Following your exploration of the crater, you have the option to be transported to Bali, Ketapang Port in Banyuwangi, or Surabaya.
