Make the most of your experience in Yogyakarta by visiting some of the city’s most popular attractions. Start your tour with a visit to the Sultan’s Palace which was built in the 17th century and continues to be the current sultan’s residence. You will have up to 2 hours to explore the palace grounds.
Continue on foot to the nearby Taman Sari Water Castle, built in the 18th century for multiple purposes including as the bathing and resting place of the royal family. After exploring the unique baths and pools of the castle, you will have the option of journeying in comfort to one of the following UNSECO World Heritage listed sites: the Borobudur Temple or the Prambanan Temple complex. There will be a lunch break before reaching the chosen temple. You will have roughly 2 to 3 hours to explore your chosen site, before returning to Yogyakarta.
